Celadon Coturnix Quail

100% blue eggs

Celadon Coturnix quail are a specific classification of quail referring to the colour of egg the quail lays rather than the colour of the plumage on the bird.

The word “celadon” is originally a pottery term which refers to glaze put on fine pottery wares.

Celadon quail contain a rare recessive gene that cause them to lay blue eggs, (sometimes with pretty brown speckles).
